How to get images for your blog

Ok, so you’ve written a great article about how you’ve made you’re startup scale from 1 to 1 billion users but of course you haven’t yet made any money. You’re article lacks a certain something.. an image or two mayb?

Images can make an article pop out to the reader and just give it that extra visual identity. Finding them on the net can be a little more difficult than you imaging. 

Product Images
It’s normally quite easy to find press shots or even whole press kits on the manufacturer websites. They want people to buy their goods, and therefore the more people see great shots of them the better!

Editorial Images
These are a bit harder to find. Yes, you can go to Google and search for images but if you want to stay on the less gray side of the law it’s best to find images that you know you can use. There are some free sites on the net where you can get some amazing photography. 

Stock.XCHNG is a great example.

If you need something a bit more substantial then you can’t go wrong with iStock Photo. They have a huge range of professional stock images ready for use on your blog or website.
